ARE THE TUTORS DISCLOSURE AND BARING SERVICE (DBS) CHECKED?

All tutors are DBS checked to enhanced Status and a copy of their certificates are kept on record. (Master Class Workshops) - some industry professionals that are brought in to teach may not have a current DBS and have been brought in for their industry expertise and experience. Rest assured those tutors will supervised at all times within the dance studio and venue.

Talent comes in many different forms and from an array of social backgrounds. Melt dance nurtures talent and allows learners to develop in a safe and industry focused environment. Some dance training is desired and a positive attitude to learning is essential.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE A TRAINING SESSION?

We understand you may have a commitment to your current dance school and you may be called in to take part in performances, competitions and various other opportunities. However, we believe in continuity and have found regular intense training, is paramount for successful career in Dance or Musical Theatre. Missed sessions must be paid for. Please refer to your payment option T&C's.

PHOTOGRAPHS/VIDEOS?

In order to adhere to our safeguarding and data protection policy it is essential that a parent or guardian sign our waver. Please keep in mind that if photos or videos are being taken it is purely for feedback and promotional purposes. We will ensure your child is kept safe both in class and online at all times.

MY CHILD DOESN’T KNOW ANY ONE?

Don’t worry, we understand this opportunity can be daunting. Melt Dance Associates provides a safe and fun environment for all learners. We aim to provide a positive and challenging atmosphere for young dancers to grow and learn from each other. We consistently promote a fun working environment. Bullying and elitism, in any form, is not tolerated at Melt Dance and will be dealt with accordingly.

WHAT LEVEL OF DANCE DOES MY CHILD NEED TO HAVE IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE PROGRAMME?

CAN I WATCH MY
CHILD IN SESSIONS?

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 social distancing and limited space we have in the dance studio we can’t allow parents to observe.

CHILD HANDLING?

Dance is a subject that is physical. From time to time it is essential to support your child to achieve a specific exercise correctly. Health and safety is paramount in dance and our qualified staff may need to move your child into the correct position to ensure this. This is why we require learners to wear a leotard to covers their middle sections. We endeavour to keep this to minimum and will ask for permission before doing so.

CLOTHING GUIDELINES!!

For safeguarding/health and safety purposes, please ensure all learners are wearing appropriate clothing/dance shoes. It is essential learners are recognised for their talents not their labels. If you are unsure if your child is wearing appropriate clothing, please contact us. 

Motivate - Weekly classes and courses

We have some amazing classes on offer! Ranging from beginners  to intermediate/advance.  Here are a few things you need to know: 

Weekly classes:

  1. Classes must be pre-booked using our online booking system. 

  2. If you are unable to attend you must inform Melt . 

Courses:

  1. All course fees must be paid in advance of the start date.

  2. Courses fee can not used in conjunction with any other offer.

  3. Course fees are non-refundable. Any credits will be transfered to another progamme or class. 

Elevate programme Fee's

Our successful programme has supported many dancers onto the next stage of their development. In order to keep offering our unique programme its important to be clear of our T&C"s. 

  1. 2 payment options are available (terms and conditions apply). ​Fees must be paid prior to start date. 

  2. Missed sessions must be paid for and will not refunded.

  3. Programme members will automatically be enrolled on to the next Phase. 

  4.  For  Payment Optio n  2- We use a a third party service to collect payments . The service will collect 10 x payments in  total. 

  5. To cancel, a written conformation letter must be received 1 month before the start of the following term.​

  6. Scholarships are on a case by case basis- proof of income will need to be provide

Thrive Programme Fee's  

The Thrive programme is designed to enhance your skills and Dance and Musical Theatre.  In order to keep our fee's low its important to be clear of our T&C"s. 

  • 2 payment options are available (terms and conditions apply). ​Fees must be paid prior to start date. 

  • If fees are not paid, members will not be allowed on the programme or be apart of future performance opportunities. 

  • Missed sessions must be paid for and will not refunded.

  • Programme members will automatically be enrolled on to the next the phase.

  • To cancel, a written conformation letter must be received 1 month before the start of the following term.

  • Scholarships are on a case by case basis- proof of income will need to be provided.

If you love what we do why not show your appreciation buy purchasing  a product to show the community your love for all things  Melt Dance CIC.  However, as  a community interest comany  every penny counts.  Below are  some  things  to keep in  mind when purchasing. 

  • Please double check the  size guide  when ordering. If your'e not sure why not try on a sample size when you are next in a session. ​

  • If there is a damage issue with the garment, please get in contact.

  • Dancer wear is custom made so please allow additional time for your purchase to be delivered. 

  • Unfortanately, we are unable to offer a refund if you have recieved the garment and have changed your mind. However, if we have another garment that is avaible for exchange we will be happy to do so. 

  • All garments will not be ordered untill they have been paid for.
